Pantech C810 appears at FCC

2488_131x275 Documents seen on the FCC site today revealed details about the Pantech C810 Mustang. The C810 is a quad-band GSM/EDGE, dual-band WCDMA slider with Bluetooth. Though the user manual does not match the phone, other photos in the filing show a 1.3 megapixel camera and keys for Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphone). Some pictures in the document appear to show the C810 is a dual-slide phone similar to the Helio Ocean, also manufactured by Pantech, however there are no pictures of C810 open to a QWERTY keyboard. No carriers have announced this phone, but it is compatible with AT&T’s network.

Pantech Duo Dual-Slider Coming to AT&T

pantechduo.jpg

There are a couple things not confirmed ever since we broke the Pantech C810 Duo story. For starters, we knew it would have 3G but what kind of 3G? Well friends, it turned out to be HSDPA. Yeah! AT&T has nabbed the Pantech Duo as a “lifetime exclusive”, and it will sport a 1.3 megapixel camera. The rest of the usual specs we were aware of — Windows Mobile 6 Standard — unique dual sliding form-factor, and a $249.99 price point with 2 year agreement. The launch date for the Duo is supposed to be “late September”, so you better hurry on down to your AT&T store when the time comes. We got’s a feeling these won’t stay stocked for long…Full product shot after the jump!

Pantech Sky IM-R200 Review

sky_im_r200.jpg

The Sky IM-R200 is the first handset that we are aware of that features an LCD touch screen keypad, separate from the handset’s main LCD display. This opens up all sorts of options for customizability and adaption of the keypad for the specific task currently being performed on the handset, but also has the disadvantage of removing any sort of tactile feedback when using the device.

As with most Asia-only handsets, other specifications of the Sky IM-R200 are not bad either. The device features a 2.0 megapixel camera with auto focus, 116MB of on board memory with microSD memory expansion, and a media player with simulated 3D sound.

Features:

* LCD touch screen keypad
* 116 MB internal memory
* microSD memory expansion
* media player with simulated 3D sound
