The wait has been worth it. Finally you can get a hold on the most rocking PDAs courtesy HP. The iPAQ 110 and 210 will be hitting the stores by October 8 th. Both the devices are loaded with WiFi, Windows Mobile 6, color TFT touchscreens, Marvell PXA310 624 Mhz processors, and Bluetooth 2.0.
HP’s iPAQ 110 will cost $299 and the 210 will cost $399.

HP recently announced a candy-bar smart phone as the latest addition to its iPAQ series. This new addition is part of HP’s strategy to complete its enterprise portfolio of desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices; it will be sold as 510 in the US, 512 in Asia and 514 in Europe. This phone definitely lacks the pizzaz needed for the consumer market, and the 176 by 220 screen resolution is the proof. On the other hand, HP has put a lot of effort into it to make it attractive for the enterprise market. This Windows Mobile 6 Standard device features a UMA client which will enable VoIP calls over the enterprise WiFi network using the IP based PBX. The phone will make VoIP for calls whenever possible and will switch to regular GSM network calls when VoIP is not possible. It can transition between the two seamlessly. This can prove beneficial to companies trying to reduce their communication costs. This phone also features a voice recognition system and can read out emails.

The HP hw6920/hw6925 PDA Smartphone is definitely one of the most awaited products this summer. Though HP is tight lipped about it’s release date, rumor has it, that it will be available around June 2006.(hey, good things come to those, who wait). Also the latest talk doing the rounds is that one may see the iPAQ on the Cingular Network and when asked, HP confirmed Cingular being the provider.

The E-TEN M600+, an upgrade of the original M600, brings with it some useful improvements: “more memory, higher resolution camera and improved Bluetooth.

Eten from Taiwan has refreshed their popular M600 smartphone, renaming it the M600+ but strangely removing the integrated GPS system in the process. The original smartphone was famous for having a simple design with a host of connectivity options, so its successor has pretty large shoes to fill. The Eten M600+ boasts an improved Bluetooth 2.0 over the original’s 1.2 with double the onboard memory of 130MB, bringing the total to 256MB. The 1.3 megapixel camera has been upgraded to a 2 megapixel version. The M600+ is powered by the Windows Mobile 5.0 OS with push email capability and will be priced slightly higher than the M600.

M600+ is the latest Pocket PC Phone by Taiwanese manufacturer ETEN, which become popular due to models like M500, M600 and G500. One of the best aspects of the E-TEN M600+ shows itself when you use the 2-megapixel camera. The screen is surrounded by icons which allow you to make settings such as changing the image resolution, applying filters and deciding whether to save your image on the internal memory or a memory card. You can toggle these on and off by hitting a toolbar icon on screen. I’ve seen this before from E-TEN, and I don’t think anyone can beat it for ease of access to camera options.
