If you class your phone/MP3 player/PDA/digital camera as being far too precious to lie on a dust and dirt ridden desktop (or somewhere equally mucky), or you’re just simply into unique looking tech accessories, the Gorilla Go-Go is definitely worth casting your eye over.
It’s a clever little accessory that’ll hold up virtually any of your gadgets (within reason - it won’t hold your Playstation), with its multiple attachment options such as suction clips and high-bond adhesive clips. It looks like it will come in handy when watching a porn film on your phone or showcasing your latest holiday snaps.
When you’ve got a bit of spare time on your hands you could even pretend it’s some kind of hybrid monster with three rubberised legs coming to destroy whatever resides on your desk with little mercy. The practical possibilities of the Go-Go are almost endless.
Put your gadgets on a real pedestal for £29.99 from Think Geek.

One of the most annoying things that can happen when you’re out and about is to run out of phone battery, and there’s very rarely a plug socket around you can hook your charger up to.
It is these times that this little gadget was created for. It might look like a pen, but actually, open it up, pop one AA battery in and it becomes a portable charger that can charge your phone for up to 100 minutes - no mains power required.
That will give you around 20 hours of standby time or two hours of talk time, depending on your handset.
It comes with five different adapters for various mobile phones, such as Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson. And the finishing touch? Put the pen back together, and it actually works as a pen. Marvellous - how very James Bond.

If you were thinking this post is about some kind of lazy/technological way to smoke cigarettes without the use of your hands, you’d be wrong (but wouldn’t that be great). It’s actually about a headset shaped and decorated like a packet of Marlboro Reds. One for the smokers me thinks. It seems unlikely any non-smoker would willingly walk around promoting the wonderful I mean unhealthy habit that is puffing on a cigarette.

OneSimCard has launched a new international sim card that features GPRS service. Using the sim card, GPRS data service will be available to users without having to subscribe to additional data plans.
OneSimCard says that usage of its products has increased in the Middle East and Asia thanks to extended coverage in Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan in addition to the traditional European destinations.
"We have now completed the product," general manager Alex Filippov stated today in Boston. "Business and recreational travelers have been requesting this service on our worldwide roaming product. This is in addition to our free world wide incoming SMS and free incoming voice calls in over 50 countries. The demand for GPRS is growing daily; we can now offer this as a very cost-effective alternative to any of the international carriers."

Besides your health, here is another cool reason why you should walk a bit more. Base on the Faraday principal, "wherein energy is produced from the motion of a magnet passing through a coil", the M2E Power aims at charging the mobile phone, via motion-powered electronics. Translated, it means that phones featuring this technology will be able to convert motion energy to power for the mobile phone. The M2E system will be able to generate between 300% and 700% more power than kinetic energy technologies currently available. Power to the future!

Some new hard cases are now available from Speck for $24.95, sporting a very stylish array of colours including green, red, pink and crystal clear. Normally I find hard cases a little bulky, but these look very slim and snug, while also giving your BlackBerry a bit of colour. BlackBerry 8110, BlackBerry 8220 and BlackBerry 8330 cases ready to roll, but if you’re packing an older Pearl, the BlackBerry 8100 SeeThru case is still available. Head on over to Speck’s online store for a closer look.

The earphones that come with the iPhone simply suck and if you are a Trance and House music fan then the earphones are simply not for you. Kanjitsu Japan has announced the HF2 earphones which are a part of its high-end ER4 series. The ear canal phones have a frequency of 20 Hz ~ 16kHz, sensitivity of 105 dB and impedance of 16 Ω. At the center of the phones is the microphone and control button which can toggle between Music / Talk and also fast forward the track. The unit comes with a storage pouch, stereo-mini connector which allows it to be used with other audio devices and spare filters. The Kanjitsu HF2 go on sale in Japan by August 21 for 20,000 Yen ($ 200).

With the iPhone 3G packing in even more functions than its predecessor, it makes perfect sense for the battery to drain much faster too. Not to mention the plethora of fun apps from the App Store to keep your iPhone 3G clamoring for more juice most of the time. Enter the iPhone 3G Solar Charging Case that not only offers adequate protection for your precious, it even comes with a built-in solar panel to convert the sun’s energy into electricity which is stored in a 1,500mAh battery which is capable of providing a full charge for your beloved iPhone 3G. It will take around 3 hours to recharge itself, and I’d recommend taking your iPhone out if this is going to be placed under direct sunlight. Go green by forking out $54 for this unique case.

Many cell phone users look for any way they can find to save money on their phone bills. If you have to place lots of roaming or international calls, your cellular phone bill can be a major expense each month. A company called Skuku has a new USB Phone that accepts the SIM card from your mobile phone and allows you to make roaming calls over your computer and only pay local rates. Cool eh?
Skuku also offers a flash drive-like device that plugs into the USB port and requires the use of speakers and a mic for calls called the Skuku Stick. The Stick sells for $15 and pricing for the Skuku USB handset is unknown at this time. The Skuku USB handset sounds much like the IPEVO Free-1 USB handset. However, the IPEVO handset doesn’t need a SIM card. The Skuku service for the Stick costs €10 per month, and we would imagine the service for the USB handset would be the same price.
