This is probably one of the most creative concept phones that I’ve come across in some time, because the external casing on the NEC Flask phone is completely transparent, letting you see the liquid fuel cell power housed within.
What makes this handset even more interesting is that this liquid inside actually drains as you use the phone, giving you a fairly accurate representation of how much power you have left. NEC makes no mention of how you would go about refilling the phone with more juice, but this still provides for fascinating conversation fodder.
The interface looks like it is based on touchscreen and/or e-paper technology, and the soft colorful options point us toward a more feminine-geared product. I know that it sounds far fetched at this point, but NEC is saying that the liquid-filled Flask cell phone will be ready some time this year.

Those sweet lads over at the Chocolate Agency have come up with yet another delectable concept dubbed P-Per; a concept mobile phone that would satisfy both environmentalists and tech nerds. The design consists of just 4 layers, a printed circuit board, extruded polycarbonate, recycled titanium, and a wrap around flexible haptic LED touchscreen. By minimizing materials, the design is highly sustainable.
The wrap around screen allows for endless user interface possibilities not to mention bezeless picture/movie taking and watching. If that weren’t enough to challenge the iPhone, how about a 7mm wafer thin form factor, 3 megapixel camera, and a 2 minute recharge time!

Nokia announced today the 7900 Crystal Prism, a special edition of the 7900 Prism that features a crystal center key embedded in the d-pad. Nokia worked with French designer Frederique Daubal to design custom wallpapers and accessories specifically for the 7900 Crystal Prism.
The 7900 Crystal Prism sports a unique fuchsia exterior with the same internal features as the 7900 Prism. A 2 megapixel camera, 1GB of internal memory, and its user-changeable keypad lights certainly set the 7900 Prism collection apart from others.
The 7900 Crystal Prism is set to be available in Q1 2008, with an estimated price of 375EUR (US$543) before taxes and subsidies.
